Our Commitment to Sustainability
At Dorset Supplies, protecting our environment isn't just a corporate policy it's deeply personal. As a passionate scuba diver, I’ve seen firsthand the impact that plastic pollution and waste have on our beautiful oceans. I knew that when it came to running our own business, I wanted to do things differently and make a real, positive impact.
Because we personally handle all of our deliveries, we have a unique opportunity to drastically minimise packaging waste.
The Purple & Black Crate System
Instead of single-use boxes, many of our clients receive their orders in our signature purple and black reusable crates
(purple happens to be Adriana's favourite colour!).
How it works: We drop off your supplies in these heavy-duty crates and simply collect them on our next delivery run, or whenever we are in the area.
The impact: By keeping this cycle going, we eliminate the need for unnecessary cardboard, paper, tape, and general waste.
We do like seeing our bright purple and black crates come back home to us—and we love knowing that, together with our wonderful clients, we are keeping both our local countryside and our oceans just a little bit cleaner.
